VOTING TECHNIQUE

Categories 1 - 12

Food & Bar Magazine accepts the nominations for each of the first 14 categories until 10th October 2015. The nominations may be made by third individuals or on his/her own behalf (nomination form). At the end of the nomination period, a jury made up of the members of the editorial team of Food & Bar Magazine and independent specialists shall decide which nominations shall be accepted for the final vote and shall issue the final list of nominations. The lists of nominations are only as a guide. The voters may also mention other HORECA locations in their voting forms. This list with the proposals for each category is made public, and the final vote is cast in the period 15th October – 15 November 2015. To this end, Food & Bar Magazine elaborates a database of HORECA customers, suppliers and professionals (owners, top management, top executive, independent specialists). Each of them receives an e-mail by which he/is asked to vote for each category of awards from 1 to 14.

We do not take into account the e-mails coming from the persons who are not on the voting list established by Food & Bar or the votes for his/her own business, if he/she is a HORECA professional. Each voter may send only one e-mail.

The winners are those who accumulate most of the votes in the end. Three awards are granted for each category from 1 to 14: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize.

Category 13

This category, called the Public Eye Award, designates its winner as follows: in the period 15th October – 15 November 2015, any person may access the public form and vote his/her favorite restaurant, bar, catering company etc., with no restriction. The multiple votes sent from the same IP are not taken into account.

Those who receive most of the votes, the Winners, are divided among the categories corresponding to their activity profile (e.g. restaurants, QSR, bar/pub, delivery etc.). A category at the Public Eye Award may form only if the number of votes for the companies from that field exceeds 10% of the total expressed votes. For example, if the total number of votes granted to the coffee shops does not exceed 10% of the total number of public votes, the awards category "coffee shops" cannot be formed. We shall communicate top 3 winners for each category formed at the Public Eye Award.

Category 14

Food & Bar Magazine reserves its right to award a prize to that restaurant, coffee shop, bar, catering company etc., or person who has become renown during the year. Various matters are taken into account: innovation/constancy, business strategy, special projects, differentiation on the market, notoriety etc. The prize is granted by the team of Food & Bar Magazine. Only one award is granted: 1st Prize.
